Overview:

Escarra is seeking a results-driven sales and business development professional to generate new business in the Florida hospitality sector. This role involves more than just lead generation; we need someone who can identify prospects, contact decision-makers, manage sales conversations, and follow up consistently to help close new customers.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience selling B2B services or products to hospitality-related businesses such as hotels, resorts, property management groups, restaurants, venues, or similar service-based sectors. Key skills include:

  • Outbound sales and consultative selling
  • Objection handling and closing deals
  • CRM tracking

Target Market:

You will focus on hospitality businesses in Florida, including:

  • Hotels
  • Resorts
  • Boutique hospitality groups
  • Extended-stay properties
  • Hotel management companies
  • Restaurants and hospitality operators
  • Event venues
  • Property management groups serving hospitality clients
  • Hospitality ownership groups
  • Businesses adjacent to tourism

Priority markets include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Naples, Sarasota, Jacksonville, and the Florida Keys.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a targeted prospect list of Florida hospitality businesses
  • Identifying decision-makers, including owners, general managers, operators, purchasing managers, and executives
  • Conducting outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other approved channels
  • Qualifying prospects based on fit, need, timing, and buying authority
  • Conducting discovery calls or sales conversations
  • Clearly presenting Escarra’s offerings in a professional manner
  • Handling objections and following up until a decision is made
  • Moving qualified prospects through the sales pipeline
  • Assisting in closing new sales
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM or spreadsheets
  • Providing weekly reports on pipeline status, outreach, conversations, proposals, and closed sales

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Proven B2B sales experience
  • A track record of closing sales, not just generating leads
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Confidence in speaking with business owners, managers, and executives
  • The ability to understand service offerings and communicate their value
  • Strong follow-up discipline
  • Comfort being evaluated on sales activity, pipeline quality, and revenue generated
  • Experience selling to the hospitality, real estate, property services, restaurant, hotel, or local business sectors

Preferred Experience:

Preferred experience includes:

  • Hospitality sales
  • Sales experience in the Florida market
  • B2B appointment setting and closing
  • Selling to hotels, resorts, restaurants, or property operators
  • CRM management
  • Cold emailing and calling
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • Proficiency with tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, Hunter, Lusha, Seamless.ai, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Experience in commission-based or performance-based sales roles

Success Metrics:

This role will be evaluated based on actual sales progress, not just activity. Key metrics will include:

  • Qualified prospects sourced
  • Decision-makers contacted
  • Sales conversations initiated
  • Discovery calls completed
  • Proposals or quotes sent
  • Deals moved through the pipeline
  • New customers closed
  • Revenue generated
  • Quality of CRM notes and follow-up discipline

Initial Project Scope:

We want to initiate a focused pilot campaign targeting the Florida hospitality sector.

Phase 1 Deliverables:

  • Build a prospect list of 100–200 qualified hospitality businesses
  • Identify relevant decision-makers and their contact information
  • Draft outreach messaging for approval
  • Conduct outbound outreach
  • Schedule and facilitate sales calls
  • Track all activities and pipeline status
  • Follow up with prospects until a decision is made (closed, lost, or deferred)
  • Assist in closing new sales

If the pilot yields strong results, this could evolve into an ongoing sales role.

Compensation:

We are open to various compensation structures, including hourly, fixed-price, commission, or hybrid models. Our preferred structure includes:

  • A base hourly or fixed monthly payment
  • A performance bonus for qualified opportunities
  • Commission or bonus for closed sales
